I've been too serious the past few years when writing my annual Christmas Song. Writing a good Christmas song also requires a sense of humor and kitsch. I was rehearsing the song Brick House, by the Commodores, with my band mates in Brother Maynard and suddenly thought that a funk tune would be good for this year's tune! Plus, if you add sleigh bells to any piece of music it all of a sudden becomes a Christmas classic! Enjoy!
